MegaN64 is a very fast N64 emulator. Play your favorite N64 games on your phone. It deserves 5 stars because I was playing it every day for several months. My games have been stuck on a 2. It could happen occasionally, but restarting the game a few more times will usually fix it. It's now impossible to play Majora's Mask.
There are so many components that the screen is constantly cluttered, making it difficult for anyone to actually bother to try it. This is very disappointing, because this was my main gaming app and it's the one I really enjoyed.
This emulator is far superior to other games that have better graphics. It's possible that the emulator will be reset in the near future and it will display the same screen size as before. It works great. It's great. This game has been tested on an older Motorola Android phone. It ran flawlessly. The controls were the only problem I ever encountered. Although they are good, I don't like touch screen controls.
I tried to connect my PS4 controller via Bluetooth, and it could not recognize it, but it was unable to map the controls correctly.
It will be great if you get a controller compatible with the app. It's quite good. It is a little annoying because the ads are so intrusive. These ads are not passive and you will have 16 tabs open in your browser, even if you ignore them or miss the tiny exit button. Although it's annoying, once you are inside your emulater, the issue is not fatal. Although the controls are intuitive, it can be difficult to reach the triggers Z or R at once.
It isn't the emulator, as far as I am concerned. The malware was detected by my phone and I have to remove it. These ads pop up once you open the app. It's annoying as it makes it difficult to navigate through the menu. I get it, ads give revenue. It would be great if the ads didn't force you to tap them, creating a security risk. It is possible to skip the advertisements, despite their presence.
Advertisements appear only in the menu, and they can be skipped right away. It doesn't matter if you use a controller or not.
This is except for slow-paced RPGs or similar games. The touchscreen controls were not used by me. Except for a couple of mis-mapped or missing textures, the graphics were good. I give this emulator 5 stars despite its many shortcomings.
It was a great emulator but it now attacks you unpredictably with advertisements. It will also pop up in your browser if it happens to accidentally click on it.
The screen orientation will change randomly, and not according to the settings. It's impossible to change the orientation back. It is almost unusable just because of this. Most of the times it works well. It can sometimes be distracting to see textures that won't load due to possible corruption.
This happened when I attempted to play Zelda Ocarina of Time. Everything turned bright green and blue. Next, I tried playing Turok. The screen went black, but it was interactive. I could still move my character, but couldn't see the direction I was heading. It could be the ROM, but I find it a bit odd that many people are experiencing the same issue.
The emulator is very easy to use and can be customized in many ways. It's great for beginners as well as advanced users. You should enjoy a wonderful experience as long you have an up-to-date flagship device. The only thing I have to complain about is that there is no way to alter the layout or size of the touch screen controls.
I find the buttons and analog sticks a bit too small. This emulator is great! The emulator runs very smoothly and, with the exception of a few glitchy textures, all games appear perfectly! Certain games can freeze during emulator emulation, regardless of the ROM copy or plugin.
This means that there is more work to do on support. It could also be the Galaxy S5, but I'm not certain. Hydro Thunder is just one example.
How come I can't move the buttons? My dudes, I don't possess Shaq's hands. This emulator works well when the games run. It is very solid and very well designed. I also love the saved states and cheats. The additional graphics and tools are an added bonus. The app was easy to use and I liked the fact that you could easily map it to your USB keyboard.
The app was excellent in displaying rom files and had access to mods and cheats for a large number of them. Any glitches found within the games could be adjusted and fixed through the settings. My tablet was slowing down and I decided to scan it with avg.
It found malware in the app. This app has potential, but it can be dangerous if malware is used. Overall, I find it to be quite great. One problem is however. Some textures are not displayed for me.
This includes faces from Smash 64 characters and many models of Paper Mario characters. It happens for me, and I don't know why. Please fix this bug if it is. It would get five stars if the tanking of certain games wasn't an issue. The thing runs flawlessly in some games. Banjo Kazooie ran like a dream. Tooie however, crashes after only 3 minutes. This app appears to be running an older Emulator version. The older Emulator version 1. The alpha for the v3 version has been available for some time.
I don't know if there is a solution, but I do hope that it will soon be. It's easy to find the files and get cheats. These are great features. However, the emulator lacks two key elements that would make it 5 stars. There is no speed button or way to alter the layout of buttons. My device performed very well. Although it's not ideal for emulators, I was able to enjoy outstanding performance and compatibility. The ability to change the orientation of the screen controls, including the A and B buttons as well as the initial joystick positions is something I recommend.
I am sorry if there's a way.
